“To offer an Alternative to the Repeating Cycle of Homelessness”

You Matter 3 is designed to educate an individual to have an excellent understanding of how to deliver the You Matter programme at all levels. You will develop listening and social skills, good safeguarding practices, an understanding of relevant research skills, and knowledge of how Yellow Brick Road Projects operates to deliver consistent results. Participants will engage on a highly practical level, leading sessions and demonstrating their skills in real world scenarios. This naturally means that most of the assessed work will be done through observation. The course also has a theoretical component with personal statements and case study analysis projects being given on set topics.

The programme is typically taught over 2 days of training with one additional day of follow up support. This is delivered in person with all content being highly optimised to the current professional climate. Alongside this there will be 3 assignments to complete before the accreditation is awarded, each giving the participant opportunities to both learn and demonstrate how our courses function. Our methods of delivery and assessment can also be tailored to a learners needs and we will do our best to ensure that no willing participant is excluded for reasons out of their control.  The course is fully accredited at Level 3 by Laser Learning Awards with the qualification being awarded to the learner at the completion of the course and assignments.

Experience in Youth Work, Social Work, and Teaching is desirable, but not essential, however a passion for educating young people is vital and forms the very core of this programme. Organisations can commission us to deliver this course to their personnel or clients whilst individuals seeking training are equally encouraged to get in contact.
